Welcome Fall Level 4A Students!

Hello to my lovely level 4A class! Do you like this picture? I actually took this picture last summer when my daughter was at a running (cross country) training camp in Mammoth, CA. This is my most favorite place in California! No crowds- and the most beautiful air and scenery anywhere!

Where is your favorite place that you have visited? Please sign in to my blog here with a Google account (can use your regular email) and reply with your name and favorite place. Also, why do you like that place so much? You may include a picture (download from Google images) if you wish!

I will try to update this blog every few days or so to give you English learning mini lessons. Please take time to explore some of the resource links (English learning websites to the right) when you have time.

Remember when we were talking about the different English verb tenses and when to use them? Check out the link on the right in the Grammar area called Explains Tenses Using Cartoons. It will give you a lot of info about all the verb tenses and how/when you use them. Moving cartoons in time...it's really cool!
See you soon!

I think that my favorite place that I have visited is Beijing. Beijing is the capital of the China,it's a famous city in the world .
I have visited the Great Wall, the Palace Museum and the National Stadium.the Palace Museum is very huge,I guess that you never see the magnificent palace,It has built 600 years. I like Beijing duck,It's very delicious.
Before I came to the U.S ,I wanted to
travel the Lijiang with my friend ,many people that I know said the Lijiang is a natural place and had very nice people, but I didn't have enough time ,I felt very sad.
I have a dream that I want to travel all over the world in the future.

Hi,Mrs.Wilcox,I finally solved my name problem with my husband's help.
My favorite space is a park in my hometown.there are many mountainous,on the path to the mountainous, there are many monkeys, you can feed them by some fruits.they are very cute, and dangerous.you have to avoid they scratch your body.

Hi Mindy, Takae, and Denny. Thanks for your post about your favorite place. I love reading these and I'm sure other students do as well. I drove by Bryce Canyon once and it was beautiful. I haven't been t Bejing but that is definately on my list! I think I would be afraid of the monkeys that Mindy talked about. I heard they can be agressive, but the mountains sound beautiful! See y'all (used in the southern US, contraction for "you all")soon.

Oops. Can you spot which words I spelled incorrectly in my last comment? Yes, "to" and "aggressive". I need to add a few commas in too. That "serves me right" for commenting when I was so tired!
