Deng Xiaoping is a hero of China. Because of him, China has been changing tremendously. He was a leader of China in 1978 to the middle of 1990. In that time, he realized that his people have been living in a poverty-stricken situation. He and his leadership determined to amend the policies. He submitted,” Reform and opening-up” is the way that Chinese had to implemented. Because of the whole country has been constantly fulfilling his policies, China gradually got rid of poverty. Most people have a fairly comfortable life. Even though he died in 1997, his policies are still use for the condition of China. Today, China from behind the development of modern agriculture society became commercial society. Meanwhile, China has gained a huge achievement of the diplomacy, sport, medicine and space field, etc.
We respect him because he let people have a better life. We call him a hero because he guided us to victory.

My sister-in-law Christine is my hero. She is really a warm-hearted person. She has helped other piteous people her whole life.
She has supported orphans, abandoned eldery people and
disabled persons.
She is a professor of music.
Her second major is music theraphy. She treats children who have mental problem with a music theraphy.Generally music artists are raised up in plentiful environment. But
she lives in frugality even though
she was raised up in wealthy environment.
She earns money and share it with unfortunate and needy neighbor. Also she teaches violin to orphans. She has provided not only material but also precious mental help. The admirable thing is when she started to help piteous people, she was very young. I believe she is a warm-hearted persons by nature. She knows how to share "love". She is one of the best women that I have ever known. I am very proud that she is one of my families.

My wife is my hero. I married her 20 years ago. I met her at chritian circle of university. She helped my missionary work and felt happy all the time. She gave me Jesus's love since I got married to her. I got a job at Chemical laboratory after finishing master course at university. But I can't work any more because I was busy with my missionary work.

In my city Naples, Italy we still have a lot problem with Mafia Oganizzation and in the last years there was a famous cattolic priest with name Don Aniello called 'Priest against mafia'.
He was doing very good job in a bad neighborood of Naples trying to help the people and children to study and go to church instead to work for the mafia and to sell drugs. He was helping them to fight against this organizzation just for love and faith and saved many young life but he was alone in this war.The mafia tried to threaten him many times and he wasn't afraid, he never gave up.
last year the Cattolic Vatican transfered him in a quiet church in Rome for his safety and because he was unconfortable, nobody know what was the real reason.
The people was crying and they were really upset ...
He isn't happy because somebody interrupped the project that he was trying to carry out for help poor people but he have to obey orders from the Central Vatican.

Mai is a volunteer at Sunflower; it is an organization that connects the blind and visually impaired children with community by reading stories to them on radio. Blind children can listen to radio at 7pm every night .She is one of the most compassionate and kindest, I’ve ever met. Blind children were lonely and insecure before. Now,just 30 minutes a night of her time and attention can help them become confident and successful. She has made a diffence in their lives. She also made their days happier with her stories. They can keep in touch with the world by their image. They all have big smiles on their faces until she finished her work every night. Now, she still volunteer at Sunflowers. Being a teller story is fun and worthwhile. Mai said:"I've learn so much. It’s the most rewarding I've ever done"
These are wonderful examples of people who make a difference in the lives of others. Remember, you can continue to post on this topic.
